Our roof flashing nails are the same nails used for asphalt shingles. Large heads give good bearing pressure. It is recommended that you "match materials" - use a nail made from the same material as your flashing.

Designed for the secure application of asphalt and fiberglass shingles on new construction and re-roofing jobs. Spiral shank provides extra holding power, especially in high wind/hurricane areas. STORMGUARD® Double Hot-Dipped Zinc-Coating provides extra corrosion-resistance in sea coastal areas. Type 304 Stainless Steel Roofing Nails also available. Manufactured to meet federal spec. FFN-105-B and ASTM spec. A-153 for hot-dip zinc coating. Nails should be long enough to penetrate 3/4" into the wood deck lumber, or completely through plywood decking. All Maze Nails are 100% Made in the U.S.A. SIZES AND QUANTITIES COMMONLY USED On A New Roof – 1-1/4" - 320 nails per sq. or 1-3/4 lbs. Over An Old Roof – 1-3/4" - 320 nails per sq. or 2-1/4 lbs.
